USD Student Glenn Gansert Studies At Sea

University of San Diego student Glenn Gansert of Reno is studying at sea this fall.

Gansert is majoring in accounting and plans to graduate in 2019.

Under the Semester at Sea program, offered in partnership with USD, students board a ship that makes 12 to 14 ports of call during the 100-day voyage. Students take classes related to the economy, environment, foreign policy and other subjects of the countries they visit.

More than two-thirds of the University of San Diego's undergraduate students participate in a wide range of study abroad programs. The university has been ranked among the top 10 schools in the nation for the past five years for the percentage of undergraduates participating in a study abroad program.

USD offers amazing opportunities to live and study through more than 80 programs in over 30 countries. These programs allow students to become global change makers and promote a deeper understanding of places outside our own borders, while also earning college credit.
