Mei-Li Hey of Chicago Selected for Mortar Board at University of San Diego

Mei-Li Hey, a student at the University of San Diego, was selected for Mortar Board, a national honor society recognizing students for outstanding achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service.

Hey of Chicago, is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Hey expects to graduate in May 2017.

Hey plans to continue humanitarian work throughout her career as a mechanical engineer.

Mortar Board, founded in 1918, has more than 200 chapters across the country and chartered on the USD campus in the fall of 2000. After students are selected, they continue to serve the University and community through special projects.
