Anna Halligan of Westlake Village Selected for Mortar Board at University of San Diego

Anna Halligan, a student at the University of San Diego, was selected for Mortar Board, a national honor society recognizing students for outstanding achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service.

Halligan of Westlake Village, is a double major in English and theatre arts. Halligan expects to graduate in 2013.

Halligan hopes to work in the entertainment field as a writer and/or producer.

Mortar Board, founded in 1918, has more than 200 chapters across the country and chartered on the USD campus in the fall of 2000. After students are selected, they continue to serve the University and community through special projects.
